The Pierce Shirt is a modern reinterpretation of an everyday wardrobe staple. The asymmetric pintuck detailing adds texture and interest without removing the classic feeling of the shirt.

The design of the Pierce shirt utilizes zero-waste pattern-cutting techniques and features interlocking pattern pieces that come together to create a whole. While the goal of designing a zero-waste garment is to use all the required fabric, some layouts may have minimal material remaining to accommodate a wide range of sizes.

    Emily is wearing Size G throughout the product photos. Her measurements are 36"/34"/42" at 5'4" tall. The sample is made from 7oz linen.

  • Interfacing: Lightweight to mid-weight fusible interfacing for the collar and cuffs, plus 1”(2.5cm) interfacing tape for the button placket – lighter or equal in weight to the main fabric.

    Buttons: ½” – ¾” (13mm-19mm) or 20L-30L: Size A-K (8 buttons) Size L-U (9 buttons)

    • The digital PDF sewing pattern includes a fully illustrated instruction booklet and pattern layout files (print-at-home, copyshop/A0, and projector files are included).
